This annual awards event recognizes the exceptional achievements of business executives and marketing and sales professionals in SE Michigan. It is the 21st annual gala to be hosted by the Marketing & Sales Executives of Detroit (MSED). Proceeds from MSED events support our marketing and sales community through educational programming and collegiate scholarships.

Bill Kozyra
Bill Kozyra’s more than 35 years of automotive experience has deservedly earned him icon status in the industry. When Bill speaks, people listen because his credibility in the most critical segment of the American economy is beyond reproach. He has routinely championed issues important to the survivability of Tier One Suppliers. Bill is also a great champion of those who work with and for him as well as The Boy Scouts of America.
Julie Fream
Julie Fream, with her more than 30 years of automotive experience, has made OESA into a more formidable force to serve the needs of its members, who are such a critical component of the automotive supply chain. Her focus on strengthening collaboration between suppliers and the OEM’s while maintaining transparency, is to be commended. Both Automotive News and Crain’s Detroit recognized Julie’s influence in the automotive industry.
Pashon Murray
Only a Trailblazer like Pashon Murray could succeed in working to make Detroit, a heavily industrialized metropolis, into the greenest city in America. The work she is doing to divert tons of waste from landfills and turn it into a useful product, is building the foundation for urban sustainability. Pashon created the paradigm shift needed to get businesses on board with generating more environmentally-friendly communities.
In addition to the Executive Leadership and Trailblazer Awards, two (2) Platinum Awards will be presented to recognize an individual or team who distinguished themselves in our field and helped their companies achieve critical business goals. The Platinum Awards are sponsored by Corp! Magazine.
