MSED Monthly Meeting
Summer Luncheon
Annual Automotive Roundtable
"Creating, Capturing & Retaining Value"
Program Summary:
Join us for this annual MSED event as our panelists discuss their strategies with respect to value creation, capture and retention.
As companies strive to distinguish themselves as global leaders, it is imperative they have a strategy to create, capture and retain the value they bring to the market. An organization that invests in and creates value (R&D Innovation), but fails to capture or retain that value on the sales side of the equation, is defeating the purpose.
For example, in metal to plastic component conversion, one sees a “disruptive technology” where form follows function. A good portion of the value could be in weight and system cost savings. How did it start? What investment? To meet what need? How is it measured and accounted for? Who captures the value? Who took the risk? How is or should the innovator be rewarded? If a collaborative effort, how is the value shared?
At this event, you will hear a candid, off-the-record discussion from a panel of experts in the field, representing both automotive OEMs and suppliers. They will answer questions and share proven methodology and past experiences that has led to successes in managing challenging issues within their supply chain strategy.
Please join MSED for this luncheon to learn, benchmark and collaborate with leaders in the Automotive Industry.
