About the Speakers:
Kelsey Cohen, Marketing "Mad Scientist", Marketing Director, Bloomscape
Kelsey Cohen is a self-proclaimed marketing mad scientist. She has nearly 10 years of experience in marketing, from graphic design and art direction to data science and marketing automation, and has brought her 360-degree perspective to B2B, B2C, e-commerce, and SaaS companies. She is currently the Director of Marketing at Bloomscape, a seed-stage start-up in Detroit.
A creative, data-driven marketing leader, Kelsey believes in developing strong processes, building collaborative and honest teams, leveraging the power of behavioral data, and continuous learning.
She has helped B2B and B2C companies choose, setup and use marketing automation platforms, develop content marketing strategies, optimize websites, conceptualize and create branding, and managed email campaigns. Companies include: Toyota Canada, Buzztime Media, NBC Universal, Sloth Steady, and others.
John Fitzgerald, Senior Director, Digital Services, The Quell Group
John Fitzgerald provides an array of strategic and tactical digital marketing services for The Quell Group’s clients, including marketing automation, website development, SEO, SEM, online advertising, social media, video, mobile, and content marketing programs. He has more than 28 years of marketing experience, including two decades in the digital space working with B2B companies, media organizations, and integrated marketing communications agencies. He recently launched Quell’s Marketing Automation Platform (QMAP), which manages and tracks website engagement and digital campaigns for clients in many different industries.
Prior to joining Quell, Fitzgerald served as VP of Marketing and Communications for RGIS, completely overhauling the company’s inbound marketing and demand generation activities using more than a dozen digital marketing applications and platforms, including Eloqua and Salesforce. Previously, he held multiple roles during his 15 years at the automotive industry trade publication Automotive News, including heading up the Circulation, Audience Development, and Online departments, as well as managing the group’s annual budgeting and business planning processes.
Fitzgerald holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Economics and Political Science from the University of Michigan and a MBA in Marketing from the Mike Ilitch School of Business at Wayne State University. He is a frequent speaker, panelist, and attendee at digital marketing conferences nationwide.
MSED Event Cancellation Policy: Cancellations will be accepted until 5pm on Monday, April 16th. Cancellations received by this date will be refunded less a 10% administrative fee, with a minimum charge of $5. Refunds cannot be issued for cancellations received after this date; however, substitutions for another person to attend in your place are gladly accepted.
